This doesn't come as much of a surprise to me, but Arstechnica's review of
upcoming wired Ethernet standards defines the lengths in only SI units with
no evil Wombat. It's nice to see the media, even a technology focused part
of it, continue in their slow but steady adoption of the metric system.
