Tesco were the loudest supermarket/hypermarket in the UK to talk about reintroducing imperial pricing on loose product back in 2000. They have always shown a "renegade" approach - recently being told off for selling grey market Levi jeans at low prices.

In reality loose food is dual and fruit&veg show both metric and imperial weight prices too.

Anyone know what Tesco's stance in metrication is? I heard a piece on NPR this morning about Tesco planning to open 20 stores in California, Arizona, and Nevada this year - then expand nationwide.

Anyone care to speculate on how the presence of a European grocery chain in the US may affect FMI's opposition to ammending the FPLA?
