In the surveying course, the book gives about equal space to feet and meters.
The level rods are all in feet. This edition is dated 2006.

In the engineering course (he teaches both), all the material so far has been
picked by the prof. We haven't gotten to the book yet. It's Reading
Architectural Plans, fifth edition, dated 2002, and though it has a few
drawings in meters, most of it is in feet and inches.

So I tell the dean that the material is antique in its selection of units?
