Please read this article. Until we in the US complete the transition to
the metric system, we will remain uncompetitive, we already lose a
substantial amount of business because we use an antiquated labor
intensive form of measurement inherited from the British, who no longer
us it. NO ONE ELSE USES IT! I believe this to be a major priority toward
our being able to compete in a global marketplace.
