I visit Iceland quite often and they drive on the right, the same as all of
Europe except the UK and Ireland.

Iceland was certainly driving on the right in 1983 (when I visited).
Also,
if you visit http://www.cbrd.co.uk/reference/international/iceland.shtml,
the positioning of some of the road signs suggests driving on the right
rather than the left.

Hmmm, the TIME article mentions Iceland as driving on the left back then.
Is that still true?
