I asked Yahoo how to permanently switch my default Yahoo Weather display to metric. The response was frustrating. It sounds like they've just decided that is verbotem. You have to click the stupid "C" every time, and that's that.
I'm going to submit a "comment" that they should add this feature. I'm also going to let them know that there are in fact an official set of abbreviations for metric units. They seem unaware of this, as Yahoo Weather currently just uses whatever random set of letters the web designer apparently thought "looked like" an abbreviation for the unit being used. "mb" for mbar (yeah, I know, that's another thing to complain about), "kph" for km/h, etc. --- Yahoo!
