I have also expanded and re-edited the Metrication Timeline to give
more emphasis to the parts played by Benjamin Franklin, Thomas
Jefferson, and (to a lesser extent) George Washington. You will find

MetricationTimeline.pdf This is a long document so you might like to
simply search for the individual names: Franklin, Jefferson, and
Washington. I have also redesigned the page layout (with help from
Stan Doore) so that this 'Metrication timeline' should now print well
on either A4 paper or on U.S. Letter paper — I would appreciate your
comments on this.
