Dear NOAA Education web Site

I do not see metric units in the NOAA Education web site.
Can you tell me why not?

Please well me of your plan to add metric (SI) units.

Please tell me about the more important matter of removing
inch-pound units. While federal law requires use of SI, many
federal agencies do not comply; it appears that NOAA is one such
agency.

For NOAA, this is quite likely a long-time matter. In
the USA, schools have not removed inch-pound units. This makes it
hard for NOAA to stop using inch-pound units. So, one can
understand why NOAA might have a long-time schedule. But a long
schedule continues the loss of billions of dollars. You can
help us all by changing to SI, and of course, the sooner the
better.

You might find it helpful to look at

www.usma.org which is US Metric Association

                www.metricationmatters.com

        Please help. Thanks.
