I agree that the prefix "centi" is preferable to the prefix "milli" for the 
expression of the height of a human.

However, the "coherent SI unit" is *meter* for height.

Accordingly, BMI is *defined* as mass/height squared where mass is in kg and 
height is in meters, in *coherent* form.
