Based on a review in Science magazine I purchased the book _Final
Theory_, by Mark Alpert.
I've read only the first several pages but already I see that it appears
to be quite metric. A victim is nearly drowned by a large intruder -- "a
hundred kilograms, at the least" -- in thirty centimeters of bath water.
So far those are the only quantity values I have seen, but it's
encouraging! I noticed that in both cases the numbers and unit names
were spelled out.
