Here's hoping they don't do this. Many states have 65, 70, 75, and even
80 mph limits in them. A push back to federally mandated 55 mph is just
a way to boost speeding ticket revenue.
In fact, much of the data they're using on fuel efficiency is based on
older data. Many engines attain their best fuel efficiency at well
above that figure. I know many German engines are optimized for roughly
110-120 km/h.
