The information regarding Date and Time formats for Macintosh
computers is wrong on the SI Navigator site referred to below. That
site refers to an older operating systems and not to the more recent
versions (starting with OS-X, I believe).
The erroneous information began by referring to "Control Panels" which
are no longer used on Macintosh computers. The date and time formats
in question are now dealt with under System Preferences. (Go to System
Preferences and then to International Preferences.)
Bill Potts, the SI Navigator webmaster, will get this message when the
rest of you do, so he may begin making changes to correct this
problems before others go there to look it up.

See http://metric1.org/windtset.htm and http://metric1.org/macdtset.htm
.
These are both accessible on the SI Navigator Web site. Just go to http://metric1.org
, then click on the Date and Time Notation menu item. The page that
appears has links (Windows and Macintosh) to each of the above,
which open in new windows.
