Hardly. 

I know you were trying to be funny, but the allusion is somewhat lost on me,
although I can see where you might have been wanting to go with it. 

Pigheaded is a common term for someone with an unreasonably stubborn streak
(as exhibited by pigs, whether hogs or sows), whereas hogshead is a cask or
a barrel of indeterminate volume (even flakier than a bushel, in that
respect). Maybe the early ones reminded people of the head of a hog -- hence
the name.
