It mentions Ballmer instead of Gates, but I think Gates would be brilliant,
and he's got more time on his hands. Bill Joy believes that technology will
destroy us all, probably some time this century, so I'm not sure he's the
right guy. And Bezos would be a strange choice; he's not really a tech guy.
But in any event, no matter who gets the job, I think it's fantastic that
Obama is doing this. The mere existence of this position gives us a
potential ally in high places.
