Easier or not, and I for one thing it is, it certainly makes sense for
everyone in the world to talk one language. Half the problems in this
world are based on miss commendation and our inability to 'talk to each
other". Having one universal measurement language will ensure the
survival of mankind and our ability to adapt our science and technology
to support a rapidly growing world which requires ever more
environmental  stewardship.
