If you know how to contact this person, you might like to suggest that
he reads the article, 'Don't use metric.' at http://www.metricationmatters.com/docs/DontUseMetric.pdf
If he genuinely disapproves of the metric system, then he could
preserve his honesty and his integrity by refusing to use the metric
system altogether.
