Harry,

Is the program American in origin? Does it take place in an American
location or is it in a metric country?

Maybe a good omen: on tonight's season premiere of the TV show "Lost",
there is a scene of miners attempting to drill in a mine. The boss has a
discussion of drilling problems that contains multiple references to
drilling meters and centimeters.

Anyone who watches "Lost" knows that it is all very, very confusing, of
course.

It's a great show.
