Jerry,

Crazy numbers?  How old are you, Jerry?  Many things were first invented and 
manufactured before any of us were born, before metric units were invented, and 
certainly, before the SI was first defined in 1960.  How could these things 
have been created in round-number millimeter sizes before the millimeter was 
invented?
