Typical Honda crap... "fog lights and external temp gauge cannot be used together".    WTF?   haha..  :)
Oh no...can't see through the fog....but I know the fog is cold!   haha..

That kit you reference is the control logic and temperature pickup.  The display is handled by the instrument cluster which my bet is as Mike said...it's set to the US country code which tells it to present data in F, miles, and 12 hour time.   The control unit just does the pickup and logic...the cluster presents the data..in this case in F instead of C.

Drives me nuts about my Audi and my old Volkswagen is that to get 24 hour time, you must change the cluster country to something else.  If you set it for UK (to get 24 hour time with mph, etc) it will change your "miles per gallon" readouts to be imperial gallons which throws all that stuff off.

On my BMW, changing to 24 hour time is a quick little button push.

Mike,

Here’s some links I found, looking for a temperature gauge for a ~2005 Honda Accord.  It’s pretty frustrating.

Even ebay-Canada lists and F only version!  I’d just like to know where there’s an online Canadian Honda parts site, where I could get the true Canadian version!

I asked Nat privately if he was referring to a digital temperature gauge

or an analog one like the water temperature needle.

Climate control systems usually allow for easily switching between C &

F, but manual gauges require a cluster swap. I did this in my old

Volkswagen, I imported a gauge cluster from Germany to get water temp in

C and the speedometer in km/h only.
