Between 1974 and 1976 I studied English at the university of Nijmegen, then I 
switched to History. I remember that I used 'degrees Celsius', but that was an 
error; it had to be degrees Centigrade. Times have changed at least, Celsius is 
now the correct form.

  Try Googling "centigrade."  Although some sites explain correctly that the 
term has been discontinued in favor of Celsius, the old, incorrect term is 
still widely used.
