Speaking from personal experience, NPR will read your comments on the air if
you're eloquent or interesting enough.  I would encourage everyone here to
contact NPR with your comments regarding the story.  Keep them short, sweet,
but detailed enough to be read on the air.  Talk in broad strokes and throw
in the buzzwords like "global competitiveness."

express your opinions (please do!) and make the comments much longer than
