Prompted by an article in The Tennessean (Nashville, TN), I went to the
website at
http://www.epa.gov/triexplorer/
to learn about toxic materials being released in my area. The site is
cluttered and the units of measurement (pounds) could be inferred only
by digging through arcane notes.
The best feature on the site is that a window popped up inviting me to
take a survey. I did so and indicated that I would metricate the data if
given a chance to run the website.
