Most, if not all the SI symbols and names are available on the EU website, embedded in the relevant directives. Visit (1) http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=CELEX:31980L0181:EN:NO T or
(2) http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=CONSLEG:1980L0181:2000 0209:EN:PDF If you visit (1), you can see the languages of the newest EU member states (Select PDF files). If you visit (2), you can see the text in English. If you would like to see it in the language of one of the other 15 member states (ie a language that is not in pdf when you visit (1)), then replace the "EN" with the letters denoting the language of your choice - eg "DE" for German (Deutsch), "ES" for Spanish (Espanol), "NL" for Dutch (Nederlands) etc. (The valid combinations can be found in reference (1)) -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of James R.
