Does anyone know to what degree US industry uses ISO or IEC standards? I know these standards are used world-wide and are fully metric. If US industry were to adopt to the ISO/IEC standards then they would also have to go metric.
What good reason would there be for US industry to adopt these standards and
how much would it help in metrication? Does the NIST have any preference for
ISO/IEC standards?
