The National Association of Manufacturers is taking a ballot of the manufacturing and commercial interests of the country as to whether they favor or oppose a bill now before Congress, providing for the immediate adoption by the Government of the metric system of weights and measures, and its adoption as the legal system in the United States in 1907.
