I just got a catalog from www.thegreatcourses.com
which lists on page 17 their DVD on Chemistry.
In the lecture titles on Chemistry are two on what
we have known for ever: that US society has failed
to get rid of inch-pound units. The authors know
that SI has to be part of the content and the
users of the DVD in the US have to be taught SI.

The two lectures are
5 The SI(Metric) System of Measurement
6 Converting between Systems of Measurement.

There are 30 lectures, all the same length. So, 2 parts
in 30 of the DVD are taken up with what people should
already know, SI metric.

The Great Courses is doing what they have to do but we
have not yet got our works done.
