Ezra, Don & All:

World experience has shown, continued use of imperial units -yards, feet,
inches has only deferred/delayed/cancelled important projects when NOT using
'SI Metric Units'. It shall only be in the right direction id NASA
cnages/cancells 'future projects' unless executed using
'standards/specifications' in Le Systeme Internationale d'Unites. Attempts,
however, are underway to 'bridge' Time & Arc-angle; along with calendar with
improved Mean Year that can meet the eye of *man-on-steet * astronomers alike*
with minimal or NO changes. Please see:

My recent results to get the BEST Mean Year/Mean Lunation, using divide six(6)
for Leap Weeks and a combination of (896+834)=1730-year cycle/21397 lunation
need only 3-day adjustment as ONE "adhika/extra Tithi" inserted during 577th,
1154th & 1730th years; and obtain Mean Year =365d 5h 48m 45s.78 & Mean Lunation
=631866/21397 = 29.530588400243 days.
