Note that the ITA still does not explicitly acknowledge the difference between
"legal units" (SI) (listed in Chapter 1 of the Annex of 80/181) which "...shall
predominate" in the EU, and "supplementary indications"(units not listed in
Chapter 1 of the Annex).
By implication, ITA would have us believe that inch-pound units are recognized
as "legal units" in the EU; NOT SO!
