John, adding to the list of the Federal entities would have to be the VA hospital system, which is still stuck in the Middle Ages. They should have been the first hospitals to go metric, yet it looks like they'll be the last holdouts. And, ironically enough, they're the only US hospitals with a fully integrated EMR system (Electronic Medical Record) which would make the conversion that much easier.
