Bill, sir:

Today's school grader has to become 'tomorrow's industry specialist'. In this
process of half learning (unless I have misread) the child while continuing to
use - Ye Olde English units, gets the impression of NOT taking SI Metric System
of units seriously to be forgotton over 'certain (X) period of time'.

My children, born post-metric acceptance of, Metric sytem, in India have not
even heard of several old units then used BUT still have to remain in touch
with *Ye Olde English - British units*. Is this NOT a failure (or remote hope
of reversion to older units) from transition to Metric system of Units that
were adopted in 1956?

Why even today - Media uses, feet/yards expressing distances! Why, I ask?

It may be pre-mature to express my X-mass Greeting
