Damn, the little spider is fast. I Googled this term and your post on USMA (the archive server) was the 9th hit.
Most references were part of USMA, UKMA, etc. However, there was one reference to this exact name in a 1918 journal (I only got to see the abstract). I think they no longer exist and have left only a minute footprint in the web. ________________________________ From: Pat Naughtin <[email protected]> To: U.S. Metric Association <[email protected]> Sent: Fri, January 1, 2010 4:34:14 PM Subject: [USMA:46343] Metric Association Incorporated Dear All, This might be of interest: http://www.annals.org/content/76/5/837.5 Cheers, Pat Naughtin Author of the ebook, Metrication Leaders Guide, that you can obtain from http://metricationmatters.com/MetricationLeadersGuideInfo.html PO Box 305 Belmont 3216, Geelong, Australia Phone: 61 3 5241 2008 Metric system consultant, writer, and speaker, Pat Naughtin, has helped thousands of people and hundreds of companies upgrade to the modern metric system smoothly, quickly, and so economically that they now save thousands each year when buying, processing, or selling for their businesses.
