Damn, the little spider is fast.  I Googled this term and your post on USMA 
(the archive server) was the 9th hit.

Most references were part of USMA, UKMA, etc.  However, there was one reference 
to this exact name in a 1918 journal (I only got to see the abstract).  I think 
they no longer exist and have left only a minute footprint in the web.
