I went to the link and right at the top of the page of comments I see "I live in Canada and have no idea what pounds and feet are." Then I thought - ah yeah - *that* sort of argument again (it's been said by a Brit or two too). It really devalues the argument when people kick off a discussion like that. Fair enough - it's fine to be of the opinion that we should do away with 'feet', 'pounds' etc but to blankly say you have no idea what it means just stops the argument dead (IMHO). Then to read that folk in the UK set it to 'Irish' (it does not exist) because they don't use stones (we do) just served as the icing on the cake. The only comment I have heard from people who own the wii fit (which is a high number) is ....... <nothing>. They just get on with height in ft/in and weight in st/lb without even noticing the measurement war going on right outside their window! ;-) ;-) ;-)
