I submitted the following comment and request to the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy:
"I have studied the Report IG-10-011 dated March 29, 2010 by the Inspector General of NASA. The Report recommends that NASA not be exempted from Public Law 100-418 and Executive Order 12770 which designate SI as the preferred system of units of measurement for U.S. trade and commerce. As the author of NASA SP-7012, I firmly support Executive Order 12770 and request that President Obama implement this Executive Order." Eugene A. Mechtly
