The survey is still up. I submitted several comments on fractions 
(peripherally related to metric, as they aren't needed nearly as much) and 
other topics, as well as eliminating non-metric measuring devices and 
explaining base units and derived units so that students will think in 
metric. I don't know which days the core standards people take off, but 
perhaps they took Good Friday off and that's why it's still up.
