Roman numeral have another use. Some computer departments require that you
change your password at regular intervals and have rules that prevent you
from tagging "01", "02" etc to your password - normally based on a minimum
number of characters having to change if the the length of the password does
not change. Now, if you tagged "I", "II", "III", "IV" etc instead of "01",
"02", "03", "04" etc to your chosen password, the length will change every
time.

Well, sometimes Roman numerals are concise.

I hope I live to be C.

If you want to export to the world, we are going to have to make and sell
things using the metric system. Germany has a trade surplus despite high
wage costs. There is far too much made in this country using units the
Romans invented and no one else used. Imagine us trying to use Roman
numerals in all our directions. We have to change, then we can sell to the
rest of the world.
