Dear David Pearl,

I am writing to let you know that I have just reviewed your web page at http://MetricSystem.ucoz.com and I am very impressed with the standard of your work on this. I would also like to congratulate you on your efforts to promote the metric system in the USA.

Might I respectfully suggest that you carefully consider your choice of the centimetre to promote the metric system as, in my experience, using centimetres dramatically slows down the metrication process.

You might like to investigate my home page at http://www.metricationmatters.com.html and especially the articles page to find materials to support your metrication efforts.

Cheers and good luck with your program,

Pat Naughtin
