The conclusion to Lost is being broadcast simultaneously in the UK and US.
However I'm not staying up till 5am to watch it! So - please don't 'let on'
until us UK types have watched our sky+ (a new verb in the UK - it's a
recording, basically). Totally unfair! We wait until very late in the UK
before showing an important boxing match (so you US types can watch it live)
but as soon as this series comes to an end - we have to wait until 5am! on a
Monday morning! no fair! :-)
Sorry about the off topicness - however there have been many measure related
things in the series. One of my favourites was hearing the young cocky Brit
rock musician mention something was 'half a kilometre away'. Like that's what
he'd say in real life! Wonder why the actor didn't say something....

Subject: [USMA:47416] Dharma Initiative (LOST) Food Products
To: [email protected]

Any enthusiast of the tv show, LOST, will be familiar with the Dharma
Initiative, and their regular food drops on the island.

The enthusiast at this site
http://maxpictures.com/weblog/2007/04/10/lost-labels-for-your-dharma-initiative-needs/
go a little carried away making Dharma Initiative food labels to fit existing
products.

The site hasn't been updated in three years and is closed to comments.
However, it would have been mildly amusing to try to convince him that as "real
scientists," the Dharma Initiative would have used metric only food labels (net
content, serving size, and kilojoules to replace nutritional calories).

For anyone having a Lost Finale party tonight, the labels might be mildly
amusing too.
