I looked at the link in two ways.   It really could be either anti- or 
pro-metrc.  Obviously if it was 'pro' it would be an extremist angle but we all 
know someone who would talk this way and think the terminology (take over the 
world  warfare, etc) is somehow reasonable.

I thought about what to say.  However, since there were no other responses or 
"discussion," I concluded it might be better to not dignify the stupid one 
liner with a response.  Zero responses in two days, its going nowhere.
 
I've been searching and haven't seen any real reaction to the NIST press 
release, only a few reprintings of it or excepts.  Gary Brown has incorporated 
it in the FPLA info on the USMA Laws page.  That should probably get a mention 
in the "what's new" box on the USMA home page.
