Dear All,
I have just finished reading Jim Hansen's book, 'The storms of my
grandchildren' and I recommend it to you most highly. I would be
particularly interested in your thoughts on the measuring units he
chooses to use.
Dr (and Professor) James Hansen is, in my opinion, one of the foremost
expert on global warming and climate change as I have been reading his
work since the 1980s.
His book is a bit scientific but eminently readable given that he
focuses the theme of the book on the future of his own grandchildren.
Dr Hansen recently visited Australia and here is an interview he did
with Philip Adams on an the Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC)
program called 'Late Night Live':

By the way, I suspect that Bill Gates views and actions (at http://www.ted.com/talks/bill_gates.html
) are based on research done by Jim Hansen.
Cheers,
