I have learned that on November 11 the European Parliament adopted a resolution on the EU-US Summit and Transatlantic Economic Council (TEC) meeting scheduled for December 16–17calling for the mutual recognition of legal units of measurement, in particular acceptance of metric-only labeling of EU products in the U.S.
Does anyone have any updated information on what came out of this meeting? Is this the "hook" that is needed to get Congress to pass the amendment to the FPLA? Happy New Year! Ezra
