Dear John,
In the time (1970 to 1982) when Australia industry upgraded to the metric
system one of our key mottoes was:
Don't duel with dual.
Maybe this is relevant to ASHRAE. The ASHRAE experience of trying the dual
approach since the 1970s is further evidence that, for a metrication upgrade,
"metric conversion" does not work.
