Knowing the metric system helped only when if you work on any car, if you cross any US boarder, or travel over-seas, if you make a product for export or want to be part of the 'Free World Trade Market'! Id put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we dont have to wait til oil and coal run out before we tackle that.
