Dear Remek,

A few days ago, I saw a one-on-one talk on a similar theme broadcast by the
Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC) here in Australia. The speakers were
Orville Schell and Thomas Friedman who are both extremely knowledgeable and
intelligent journalists who know a lot about the Asia region.

Again this is not directly connected to the metric system but if there is to be
better dialogue between the USA and ASIA then the metric system has to be the
basis for much of this dialogue.

I hope you like it.

Cheers,
