What these four men are trying to answer is the question: "What is the difference between 180 mm and 140 mm or 180 - 140 = ?" Questions like this occur in workplaces in the USA every day. I will leave it to you to calculate the overall cost to the economy of the USA. My estimate is about 1.3 trillion dollars a year or about the same as the whole of the USA military budget or a bit less than this year's budget deficit for the whole of the USA.
