Gene, Pat, The article is targeted to the average American who has not yet made the connection that 'grams', 'milligrams', 'millimeters' and 'liters' are metric units. I posted it to the USMA list to get suggestions for making it more interesting and appealing to a broad spectrum of Americans.
I've met several people who were actually surprised that they used metric units in their everyday lives.
