A store near here sells olive oil in some round metric size (750 or 1000 ml I don't remember). The bottle is also labeled in ounces. The store took the ounces to be weight and labeled the unit price on the shelf, erroneously, in dollars per pound. I've also seen something (salsa, maybe) labeled in both volume and mass.
