I don't live on London. I live well over 320km from London near a city called Sunderland. I happen to live around 200 metres or so from my local Morrison's store. There are scales to weigh loose fruit & veg in pounds and ounces if you wish, but at the checkout, it is measured on electronic scales at the checkout.

I shop at a Morrison's supermarket almost every day and not once have I noticed any "shelf edge imperial". Every shelf (and just about every item) has metric measurements ONLY on them. Mr Humphrey's knows this full well. Don't hold your breath waiting for evidence to the contrary from him, though. He's quite fond of making these claims, but, strangely enough, never presents any sort of proof whatsoever. He's a troll anyway, and best ignored really!
