Bill,
There is a "generic" e-mail for the Stylebook to submit questions/comments (no
attachments permitted).  I have used it in the past but to no avail (I thought
I
had pretty good backup for the points in my e-mail a year or so ago).

If others wish to submit comments by snail-mail, the three individuals named in
the article are the Stylebook editors, and the address is:

The Associated Press
450 W 33rd St
New York NY  10001

Of course, the USMA archive indicates we have been flogging the AP for
incorrect
usage for at least a decade to no avail, so my letters may not accomplish much
either.  I've taken my best shot. On to a previously scheduled joust with the
next windmill.

Confusion? ME?

Well, yes, I sure may have confused the two authors of the two USMA emails. But
in any case, thanks for your reply.

I never even found email addresses for them, much less had any opportunity to
send attachments.

However, I recall finding USPS addresses and I may do as you have done, send
snail mail msgs.

Thanks.
