I wrote to Rail Europe http://www.raileurope.com/index.html and asked if they could include km/h and the 24 hour clock on their web site. I would have thought anyone going to Europe would need to be familiar with both anyway and they should include both. However that's not the way they want to do business, probably because it's a US centric and US based website. Below are the sequence of emails. Others could send similar requests, maybe we could get them to change? I mention European Heritage as that's one of their slogans, "We value our European Heritage". Original Message Follows: ------------------------ Every country listed uses km/h and the 24 hour clock except the US, so why the insistence on providing information only used in the US, and even I who live in the US are quite willing to accept kilometers and the 24 hour clock which I find much more convenient for reservations, there is obviously no error with the 24 hour clock versus 12 pm and 12 am which has no fixed definition. Thank you for your feedback about our website. I will pass on your suggestions to my supervisor.
Thank you again for contacting Rail Europe.
