Periodically people post requests here for metric recipes. I have posted a few metric recipes, as have others.

Yesterday I received some books that I ordered from AmericanCanner.com. The books listed below were published in Canada and all three provide metric quantity values as well as inch-pound values. They seem to use rather approximate values for relating the two, not entirely inappropriate for cooking, such as 500 g = 1 lb, 250 mL = 1 cup, etc. And in North American style, volumes predominate, even for dry items such as sugar, chopped vegetables and fruits, etc. Some volume-mass information is provided for various "ingredients" in the back of the first two books listed here: 1. Ball Complete Book of Home Preserving (2006), Judi Kingry and Lauren Devine
2. The Complete Book of Pickling (2009), Jennifer MacKenzie
3. The Complete Book of Small-Batch Preserving (2007, 2nd ed.), Ellie Topp and Margaret Howard The three books stack to a height of 7 cm, so I reckon there are many metric recipes in there for canning (as well as for dehydrating, freezing, etc.).

I also have the Ball Blue Book Guide to Preserving, Anniversary Edition (2009). It is entirely non-metric.
